WHO WE ARE
We are the ones carrying on my son's legacy.
We are the Greene family and we have been in a similar situation as you. We belong to a small society of people who are going through something no parent should ever have to- the loss of our child.
I had the support only others could dream of. My family, my work, and friends all came together to form a force that could not be stopped. They all took care of us and all the arrangements including the financial burden. It was a sight to see amid a tragedy. In the worst moments of my life, I could not help but feel loved.
I understand just how truly fortunate I have been in this aspect. I also understand that not all people have this support. I was told multiple times through the early days of my grief that something good has to come from this tragedy. I decided that I was not going to leave that to chance. I lost my pride and joy, my buddy, my lil’ man. Something good must be made of this horrific tragedy. I must create this good. So here I am.
WAYS WE HELP
The decisions you are having to make as a grieving parent are decisions you should never have to make. This is not what we signed up for, when we had our children. It simply is not fair. We want to take a small piece of your burden and make your child’s urn for you. I promise that you will be delivered a beautiful handmade box for your child to rest in. Every box is made with the same love that was put into the making of Xander’s urn. To me, I feel like a parent having to pay $200-$800 for semi-custom urn is not something you should have to do. An urn does take time, money, and skill, but I would love to be able to help you in this small way. A gift from us to you.
